What to be grateful for...?
Each idea gets knocked down by “yeah, but...” and other rationalizing justifications. I am not grateful for a contrary mind.
I am grateful that I’ve eaten within the last 24 hours. I’m concerned that I don’t have a lot of food stored; yet I do not want to be a hoarder, either.
I appreciate that I don’t have too many things, yet I still seem to be holding onto a roomful of items of varying personal attachment.
My social interactions are usually pleasant. I wish that I interacted with 5 to 10 people on a more regular, consistent basis; partly to develop a deep pillar of support.
I wish my time did not get devoured by gnats. I wish the vampires did not drain the life out of us...? I wish for a calmer, more serene schedule...

I am grateful for food and housing, for friends and family, and for learning how to live with little.
